MillenniumIT runs marathon with largest IT contingent

Taking part in the 15th Colombo Marathon held last Sunday, MillenniumIT had the largest IT contingent with a total of 133 employees competing. Sri Lanka was one of 39 countries participating at this year’s event, joining a global pool of 6,000 runners. The marathon began at the BMICH and ended at various locations, with the full marathon ending at the Negombo beach. 

“The participation from MillenniumIT this year was extraordinary, with over 125 registrations and several last minute attendees as well. I want to thank everyone who took part. As a company, we consider it a privilege to have been a part of such an exciting and well-organised event, and we are all looking forward to the 16th Colombo Marathon,” said MillenniumIT CEO Mack Gill.

The group included several top management personnel including CEO Mack Gill; Director of Business Development Jit Seneviratne; Head of People Management and Development Bani Chandrasena; Vice President of Software  Development Manoj Bandara; Vice President of Platform Organisation Lalin Dias; Vice President of Surveillance Systems Fuard Ahamed and Head of Business Analysis and Consulting Kasun Perera.
