Milo President Trophy knock out rugby faded further when 4 teams pulled out of the tournament which is scheduled to kick off on 25 June. Science was the first school to pull out citing financial issues, then followed by Trinity and St Joseph’s due to injury to a majority of their players due to the long season. The last team to depart was D S Senanayake College who filled in for Joes which too pulled out due to insufficient time to prepare for their quarter final game against Isipathana. This will leave Pathana an easy passage to the semi finals.
