The Hero Indian Open (Golf) is India’s longest running international sports competition and is held annually on the Asian Tour. Started in 1964, it has now been held for 49 years and celebrates its golden jubilee in 2013. It is the flagship event of Indian golf.
In 2013, the Asian Tour will celebrate a momentous milestone with its 10th season. As the official sanctioning body for professional golf in Asia, the Asian Tour leads the development of golf across the region, enhancing the careers of its members while maintaining a commitment to the integrity of the game.
The Asian Tour, through its membership of the International Federation of PGA Tours, is the only recognised pan-Asian professional golf tour in Asia. This unique feature positions the Asian Tour at the pinnacle of professional golf in Asia; providing its events with Official World Ranking status.
“I strongly aim at a win because I well believe I have a good chance as the game is in good shape,” Mithun said. Meanwhile Mithun scored 69-67-71-69 at a total of 276 at minus 12.
At The Resorts World Manila Masters on Sunday at Manila in Philippines China’s Liang Wen-Chong won with a 67-69-67-69 totalling 272 at minus 16.

Following his success at the two Mithun is leaving overseas for several championships that include the Indonesian Open, Hong Kong Open, Thailand Championship and the Indian Tour Championship of which will continue till 30 December this year.
