Former New Zealand, Super 15 top class referee Garratt Williamsons was in Kandy conducting one to one for the leading referees in Kandy. Further he involved the CMOs (Coach Match Official) too at this session which took place two days back at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium in Kandy.
He stressed that the referees, coaching staff and the SLRFU (Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union) should take a collective effort to iron out all issues and differences. Further the sporting public, the spectators, also have to be educated as a code of conduct has to be in place.
