Nimali Liyanaarachchi wins Bronze at Asian Athletics Championship

Sri Lankan sprinter Nimali Liyanaarachchi secured Sri Lanka’s first medal yesterday at the Asian Athletics Championship 2015 being held in Wuhan, China after taking the Bronze medal in the women’s 800 m final.Liyanaarachchi captured the Bronze while Tintu Luka from India won the Gold.

The Asian Athletics Championships kicked off in Wuhan on Wednesday.
