NTB, Amex golf extravaganza tees off on 4 June

The Annual Nations Trust American Express Golf Extravaganza this year too will be conducted on a Stableford format and is scheduled to tee off on Saturday, 4 June 2011, at the Royal Colombo Golf Club.

The morning session will commence on a shot gun start at 7am and the second set of players will tee off at 1pm. This time too the tournament will be conducted in the following categories; Men’s -Group a Handicap 0–9, Group B Handicap 10–18, Group C Handicap 19–28 as well as seniors and Ladies.

A generous prize awaits the overall winner whilst there will be division winners in the various categories. Attractive prizes will also be separately awarded to Nations Trust Bank customers as well as American Express Cardmembers who emerge as best performers in the tournament. The most accurate drive on each flight will be rewarded on the 15th hole whilst the Circle of Fortune awaits the brave on the 9th hole. The tournament will conclude with fellowship, cocktails and entertainment on Saturday evening.

The Nations Trust American Express Golf Extravaganza is a key event in the bank’s corporate calendar and is expected to deliver an exciting day of golf for all participants, the majority of whom are customers of the bank. Registrations will open on 28 May at 2:00pm at Royal Colombo Golf Club and will close on 1 June or in the event it is fully subscribed.
