The Oxford University Cricket Club arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday on a cricket tour.
They will play matches against St. Anthony’s College at their home grounds in Kandy on 17 March, Peradeniya University at their grounds on 18 March, St. Peter’s College at the S. Thomas’ College grounds on 21 March, Sri Jayawardenepura University at the Mercantile Cricket Association grounds on 22 March, a Combined Galle Team at the Galle Stadium on 24 March, the Victory Sports Club at the Maggona Surrey Village Ground on 27 March and the Cricket Academy of Negombo side at the BOI Ground in Katunayake on 28 March. During their stay in Sri Lanka they will also participate in a charity program which will be carried out in collaboration with the Senahasa Trust in Galle on 25 March – Pix by Kumarasiri Prasad - Airport Correspondent
