Pakistan wins Memon T20, Middle East Chapter wins Fair Play Award

Memon T20 Premier League 2013 was won by Pakistan Chapter defeating India Chapter by six wickets in the final which was held at the Premadasa Stadium Sri Lanka.

Middle East Chapter Captained by Akil Aslam performed well in the tournament however, the loss to African Chapter by just two runs kept them away in reaching to the semi finals.

Despite their early exit from the tournament, the Middle East Chapter kept their cool and discipline to bag the Memon Fair Play Award.

Excellent team effort and team unity was the key factor which drove the two coach’s Vishan and Atif in running this team to win the prestigious trophy.

All credit goes to the entire team which performed self discipline and courage during the tour, which lasted for nine days in Sri Lanka.

The team indeed performed a high level of sportsmanship during practice sessions and matches in the tour. Finally, appreciation of the award goes to Middle East Chapter Team CEO Farook Kassim.
