The Pin Fernando Memorial Golf Grand Prix organised by Sri Lanka Golf Union is being currently worked off at the Victoria Golf Course at Rajawella, with the finals scheduled to take place on 15 August.
Nearly 50 golfers are taking part in the two divisions of this championship. At the July championship Priya Hemantha of Victoria Golf and Country Resort won the A Division title while G.M. Pradeep Kumara of Royal Colombo Golf Club became runner-up.
The defending champion in the B Division is 17-year-old Praveen Raj also from Victoria Golf and Country Resort. Runner-up in this division was caddie Sandhya Kumari from Victoria Golf and Country Resort. She was the only lady golfer in this grand prix.
