Plantation Sevens on 10 April

The Inter Plantation rugby sevens will be worked off on 10 April at the Darrawela grounds in Dickoya. Kick-off is scheduled at 8 a.m.

In total 12 plantation companies have entered this year’s tournament which will be played under four groups before the championship moves into the final stage. From there onwards teams will lock horns for Bowl, Plate and the Cup segments. 

Defending champions Talawakelle Plantations will miss out this year’s tournament. They were coached by Mohamed Faizal, the former Vidyartha ruggerite and present Trinity Junior coach.

Bogawantalawa Plantations, Kelani Valley Plantations, Pussellawa Plantation

Group B

Kahawatte Plantations, Hapugastenna Plantations, Elpitiya Plantations

Group C

Maturata Plantations, Malwwatte Plantations, Agrapatana Plantations

Group D

Kotagala Plantations, Horana Plantations, Watawala Plantations
