Rahula College Matara registered a first innings win against Sri Devananda College Ambalangoda in their Under 13 Division One first round cricket match, played at the training college grounds in Balapitiya.
Batting first, Rahula declared their innings at 155 for the loss of eight wickets. Skipper Binara Sanketha scored 90 runs off 142 deliveries with seven boundaries and two sixes while Heshan Nilakshana captured three wickets.
Gayanga Wimalasuriya 4/37 and Kavindu Samarasinghe 3/20 restricted the Devananda innings to 90 runs. Sachin Dewra (30) topped the scorecard.
Rahula scored 73 runs for the loss of one wicket. Lakindu Chamodya (40) and Chamuditha Dilshan (26) were at the wicket at the close of play.
