Ransilu Jayathilake wins Bronze in India

Ransilu Jayathilake stamped his class in power lifting when he won Bronze medal at the Asian Power Lifting Championship which took place in India earlier this month. This was the first medal won by Ransilu.

Jayathilake achieved with a squat 270 kg (bronze), bench press 150 kg, deadlift 305 kg (gold) for an overall total of 735 kgs for the Bronze medal. With these achievements Ransilu qualified to represent Sri Lanka for the World Championship which will take place in (USA) end of this year.
