Former Thomian Ravi Goonaratne will continue for yet another term as President of the Colombo Rugby Football Club (CR & FC) which concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM) yesterday at their Club House at Longdon Place.
Former Royal 1983 skipper, Sri Lanka Sevens player, Sriyan Cooray will be the Deputy President. There are some Trinitians coming in to the new committee such as prop forward Hamza Hasanally, hooker Janinda Dunuwile, Rugby “Lion” Ajith Abeyratne, cricketer Dyan Dunuwile and Tharanga Gunasekera along with former Thomian scrum half, Reza Marjan.
Former Wesley player Shane Sammandaperuma who has been with the club for the last five plus years will lead the outfit.
Former Army, Peterite Head Coach and Scotland Ben Mcdougall is tipped to take over the coaching stint with the Longdon Place club for 2016/2017.
