The memories of childhood have their own kind of nostalgia. With the passage of time, one feels more attached to this childhood, the best period of a man’s life. For the old Royal fraternity, the decades of the ’70s and ’80s represent an era that was balanced, simple, and innocent.  The population at Royal is represented by students from all corners of the island from all racial and religious backgrounds, from most humble to the elite.

Life at Royal has helped them to be moulded into the successful, well-rounded men they represent today. Hence, in commemorating their silver anniversary, the Royal College Group of ’88 have organised a fellowship dinner to be held on 6 March at the Galadari Hotel Colombo.

For the old Royalists and family who are eagerly awaiting the action packed 134th Battle of the Blues following the very next day, this occasion is expected to combine the energy of the Royal sports fan and spreads the cheer of the age-old friendly rivalry with S. Thomas’ College.
