Regatta: Royal clinches Mini Battle; big contest tomorrow

At the Royal-Thomian regatta mini battle worked off at the Colombo Rowing Club recently, Royal College emerged winners, clinching the A Pair, B Double Scull, B Four and A Four events, scoring a total of 32 points.

The closely contested mini battle was a hard fought affair, with the boys of both schools putting in their best efforts to win, but with Royal College coming out on top.

Royal College won by 12 points with final scores being Royal College : S Thomas’ College 32:20 The traditional regatta is scheduled to take place on 27 October at the Colombo Rowing club and is sponsored by Bharti Airtel Lanka.
