Ronny to coach Science College

Former Kingswood, Police SC, Sri Lanka fly half, Ronny Ibrahim will be appointed as the Head Coach of Science College rugby from next Monday. He will take charge of the outfit for the 2015/2016 rugby season.

Ronny represented his school from 1983-86 and leading the side in his last year. He coached the Randles Hill school (2003-2006) losing only two matches during his stint with Kingswood which is a unique record for any coaching staff in the country. Ronny moved to S. Thomas’ (2007-2008) and shifted to Club rugby coaching the Sailors (2009-2012) taking them to win many league trophies.

He is the only coach in the country to hold the Head Coaching position for two different countries. He was appointed as the Coach of the Indian rugby outfit in 2013. The following year he coached Sri Lankan outfit. He coached Sri Lanka both in fifteens and sevens.
