’Rumble in the Jungle’ rides to thrilling finish

The SriLankan Airlines ‘Rumble in the Jungle 2014’ mountain biking adventure event awards ceremony was held on 23 November at the Goldi Sands Hotel in Negombo. The mountain biking adventure competition was held in collaboration with Yak Attack - UK over four days across 272 kilometres of rugged mountain terrain. The competition saw the participation of 40 foreign and local bikers. Ismael Ventura , winner of the men’s division, flanked by Promotions and Activation Manager Mobitel Ltd., Milinda Attygalle, SriLankan Airlines Regional Manager Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Saminda Perera, Lanka Sportreizen Chairman Tilak Weerasinghe, SriLankan Holidays Manager Gayan Peiris Cory Wallace, runner-up in the men’s division, receives his award from Lanka Sportreizen Chairman Tilak Weerasinghe                     Ajay Pandi, the second runner-up in the men’s division, receives his award from Regional Manager Sri Lanka and the Maldives SriLankan Airlines Saminda Perera Sonya Looney , the winner in the women’s division, flanked by Promotions and Activation Manager Mobitel Ltd., Milinda Attygalle, SriLankan Airlines Regional Manager Sri Lanka and Maldives Saminda Perera, SriLankan Holidays Manager Gayan Peiris, Lanka Sportreizen Chairman Tilak Weerasinghe and SriLankan Airlines Promotions Executive Sonam Butani  Veteran’s category winner Zbigniew Wizner From left: Hannah Barnes (third place), winner Sonya Looney and Myriam Saugy (second place)
