Sanjay and Amrith clinch chief spoils at AmCham-Ford Golf Tournament

Sanjay Tiwari with 45 points won the AmCham-Ford Challenge Trophy under the Overall Winner Net category while Amrith De Soysa emerged the Overall Winner Gross with 41 points, at the AmCham-Ford Golf Tournament - sponsored by Future Automobiles Ltd. - held on 20 September at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC). AmCham Sri Lanka President Suren Rajanathan said: “The AmCham Golf Tournament has been a tremendous success throughout 14 consecutive years. Over the past 14 years the funds raised from the tournament have helped and supported different charitable projects. A state-of-the-art 3s facility encompassing sales, service and spare parts was launched in June 2014. It consists of a showroom and after-sales facility which would establish a new benchmark for automotive dealerships. We trust this will be a mutually rewarding relationship going forward,” he said. As in the past, a portion of the proceeds from the tournament will go towards a RCGC-nominated charity and the recipient this year is the Navodhya Foundation. Also partnering AmCham at this year’s event was Cinnamon Air.
