Saudi Arabia wins ACC U19 Challenge Cup

Saudi Arabia beat Kuwait by four wickets in the final to win the ACC U19 Challenge Cup on Saturday.

Kuwait, asked to bat first, but was bowled out for 125 in 35.3 overs. Saudi Arabia chased down the target in 42.3 overs to win by four wickets at the Kinrara Oval in Kuala Lumpur.

Meanwhile, Myanmar finished seventh, by beating Brunei by nine wickets at the Penang Sports Club.

Brunei was bowled out for 39 in 19.3 overs and Myanmar chased down the target in 8.3 overs.

Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have now been promoted to the ACC U19 Elite Cup of 2013.
