Central Province Rugby Football Union (CPRFU) will organise a school sevens tournament on 7 January at Nittawela Rugby Stadium. This will be a good warm up for the up country schools for the all island schools seven-a-side tournament which is fixed for 30 and 31 January 2015 in Colombo.
There will be trophies awarded for the Cup, Plate, Bowl and Shield winners.
Trinity, Kingswood, Dharmaraja, St. Anthony’s, Vidyartha and St. Sylvester’s are expected to field two teams each. This will be an under 20 tournament.
