Seetha Devi hockey Sevens on 19 and 20 Oct.

The Seetha Devi Hockey Sevens, organised by Seetha Devi Girls’ College and the Old Girls Association of the school supported by the School Development Society, will take place at the Bogambara Stadium on 19 and 20 October. 

It is one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the hockey calendar in Sri Lanka, catering to schools (boys and girls) and clubs (men and women). This is an all-island championship open to all but on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Entries are now open and will close on 30 September.

This tournament will have 32 boys’ schools, 24 girls’ schools (both Under 19), 16 men’s and ladies’ clubs.

Sri Lanka Navy are the defending men’s and ladies champions with Sangamittha Girls’ College Matale the defending the girls’ champs.

The boys’ school title was won by Christ Church College, Matale.
