Senior PGA Asia Pacific champions tour starts

The two-day Senior PGA Asia Pacific Champions tour event hosted by SriLankan Airlines began yesterday at Victoria Golf and Country Resort in Kandy.

Over 55 senior pro’s including Sri Lanka’s Nandasena Perera began the battle for the top prize.

Predictably,  former PGA  seniors champ Mike Harwood and Thailand’s Jamnian Chithprasong took the 1st and 2nd place in the days play, with 68 and 71 gross points respectively, while Ahmed Bateman finished 3rd on 72 points. Nandasena Perera was at 13th position with 78 points.
