SLC financial support for top school teams

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) recently recognised schools that have won championships at different age groups during the 2014/15 season, at a special event. 

Speaking at the occasion, SLC Chairman Sidath Wettimuny stated: “It is paramount that SLC recognises schools that win championships during a cricket season and SLC has decided to extend financial assistance by way of grants to best performing schools in the All-Island category on a merit basis.” Chairman Wettimuny and Vice Chairman Kushil Gunasekara gave away the awards to the winners.
