SLC holds 56th AGM

Sri Lanka Cricket yesterday announced that the 56th Annual General Meeting of SLC was held on 23 April 2014 at the Head Office of SLC, chaired by Board President Jayantha Dharmadasa.

The meeting began with Secretary Nishantha Ranatunga welcoming the invitees for the meeting and one minute silence observed in respect of the members who passed away during the past year. The Secretary went on to thank the national team and support staff together with the national selectors for the excellent performance to win the Asia Cup and the ICC World T20, and he thanked the sponsors for being part of this great achievement. He also went on to thank the media for the wide coverage given to SLC during the past year and during these achievements.

The Audited Statement of Accounts was confirmed to be in order and was adopted unanimously. SLC President Jayantha Dharmadasa commended and thanked the Treasurer Nuski Mohamed for the great job done in handling the finances of SLC for the past year which was endorsed by the Vice President Mohan De Silva. Finally, the Secretary thanked all SLC stake holders present for taking time off from their busy schedules to be at the Annual General Meeting.
