SLC to conduct Coach Educator level 1

The Coach Education Unit of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will be conducting a ‘Level 1 Coach Educator’ course for selected provincial and district coaches from 11 to 13 June, at the ‘Max Academy’ located at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium.

The purpose of this exercise is to cater to the growing demand throughout the country for many who would like to join the Cricket Coaching Industry, by enhancing their knowledge and obtaining a qualification, following the SLC Level 1 Cricket Coaching course which is endorsed by the ‘International Cricket Council’.

While the Coach Education Unit of SLC only conducts such courses at present, it is the belief of the National Coaching Department that strengthening the Coach Educators for the future is of utmost importance.
