SLIIT clinches title at Inter University Tennis Tournament 2012

SLIIT emerged champions by outplaying Colombo University 3-1 in the final of the invitation Inter University Tennis Tournament held at the Kelaniya University tennis courts from 26th - 28th March 2012.

The event witnessed six teams battling it out for the championship trophy, including University of Kelaniya A and B teams, University of Colombo – A and B teams and APIIT. In the run up to the final SLIIT beat APIIT 4-1 and also University of Kelaniya 5-0.

The triumphant SLIIT team comprised Akila Peiris, Kasun Hapuarachchi, Harsha Chandrasiri, Harsha Perera and Charitha Jayawickrama.
