SML Frontier automotive sponsors Hill Club tennis

Land Rover, the iconic British motoring brand will add verve and style to the forthcoming holiday season in ‘Little England’ by sponsoring the 2013 annual ranking tennis tournament of the Hill Club Nuwara Eliya.

The tournament is to be worked off from 11 to 17 April, at the Club’s courts, in partnership with SML Frontier Automotive, the sole agents for Land Rover in Sri Lanka, the event’s diamond sponsor for the third successive year.

According to Hill Club Manager/Secretary Stanley Goonaratne, there will be six categories with a participation of over 150 players in this year’s tournament.

“Land Rover is pleased to be associated with this event, which is one of the highlights of the Nuwara Eliya season. We will have on display the Range Rover Evoque as well as the Freelander 2, which are the two most popular models,” Frontier Automotive SML MD Sheran Fernando said. “Besides supporting a tournament that is one of the Sri Lanka Tennis Association’s ranking events, this also provides us an opportunity to display our vehicles to a receptive audience.”
