South Africans arrive today for ODI, T20 fixtures

South Africa Cricket Team will arrive today for a five ODI and three T20 matches to be played from the 20 July 2013 onwards.

The world famous Proteas will go all out to beat the Lions in their homeland and it will be explosive cricket all around in the next few weeks.

South Africa who first came to Sri Lanka in 1993 under the captaincy of Kepler Wessels, are on their third tour of Sri Lanka.

The Proteas will play in Colombo, Kandy and move on to Hambantota for the final two T20 matches on this tour.

Sri Lankan cricket fans will see their heroes take the field for the very first time with their new team sponsor Dialog Axiata PLC who signed a three-year deal very recently. MAS which signed the deal to be the national team clothing sponsor will be proudly worn by the National Cricketers on their home soil.

Ten Sports who have signed as international television and broadcasting sponsor will take this tour to billions of viewers worldwide. CSN will be the Local TV partner and SLBC will the local radio broadcast partner for this tour.

Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo will be the host hotel for both teams, while Mahaveli Reach will be the host hotel in Kandy. In Hambantota the Sri Lankan Team will stay at the newly built Grand Udawalawe Safari Resort and the South African Team will be at Peacock Beach Hotel Hambantota.
