South Asia Textiles Industries (Lanka) Ltd. will be the principal sponsor of the Governor’s Cup, Sri Lanka’s very own Royal Ascot, at the picturesque Turf Club Race Course in Nuwara Eliya on 15 April.
The Governor’s Cup is an age-old fixture on Sri Lanka’s social calendar, dating back to colonial times. The derby will feature, as in year’s past, a number of social gatherings, from a champagne brunch and fashion show to a formal evening gala.
