Speedrome All Island Karting Championship 2011 - Round 2

The 2nd Round of the All Island Karting Championship 2011 organised by Speedrome was held on 20 August 2011 at Speedrome Karting center ended with some thrilling races announcing the winners of the Round 2.

The All Island Karting Championship organised for the 2nd consecutive time this year in 3 round races to introduce young talent and racing drivers to the Sri Lankan racing arena. For the 1st time ever there was a Ladies event in the championship event and Sri Lanka witnessed some exciting young female racing talent as well. The highlight of the evening was Master Devin Serasingha and Master Kyle Crosland who are very young guys shared 2 podium positions in 2 race classes respectively.

The event ended 20th evening with a good crowed turn up to witness the event and Speedrome announced that the Final and the 3rd Round of the Championship was to be held in October 2011.
