Sri Lanka Army and Air Force Judokas shine at Judo Championship 2013

A team of Judokas who represents the National Judo contingent of Sri Lanka Army and Air Force, showcased their talents at the Thailand International Judo North Bangkok University Championship 2013 held recently in Bangkok, Thailand. Sergeant Leemagasthenne, Lance Corporal Priyanga, and Private Sameera of Sri Lanka Army won bronze in their respective weight categories. Leading Aircraftmen Jayawardane and Wickramage of the Sri Lanka Air Force secured bronze medals in the under 60 kg and 90 kg weight categories respectively. DGCD Wijerathne of Jinaraja Balika Maha Vidyalaya in Gampola also won a bronze medal in her event.
