Sri Lanka outclass Hong Kong at 5th Asian Hockey Federations Cup

Sri Lankan men’s hockey outfit beat Hong Kong 2-0 and progressed to the finals of the tournament. 

The encounter was worked off at Kings Park Stadium in Kowloon, Hong Kong yesterday.

For Sri Lanka, Damith Bandara scored in the initial half while Sandruwan Priyankara was on target in the latter half to seal the win. 

Sri Lanka will battle it out with Bangladesh who beat Singapore 8-0 in the other semi-final encounter. (SJ)
