Sri Lanka Super Series 2014 1st leg to flag-off in Katukurunda on 1 and 2 Feb

The Sri Lanka Super Series 2014 will launch its first leg on 1 and 2 February at the Katukurunda Circuit Meet. Entry deadline will be closed on 28 January. Entries for the motor cars will be for the following classes – Group ‘SLH’ Cars up to 1000CC, Group ‘SLH’ Cars up to 1600CC, Group ‘SLS’ Cars up to 1500CC, Group ‘SLGT’ Cars up to 3500CC, Group ‘SLF’ Formula McLarens 1300CC (Carburetor) and Group ‘SLF’ Formula McLarens 1300CC (EFI). Entries for the motorbikes will be for the following classes in the Tarmac Championship – Group ‘Super SM’ Supermotard Bikes Over 175CC up to 250CC (2T) and Over 290CC up to 450CC (4T) and Group ‘M’ Modified Motorcycles Open Over 250CC (4 Stroke). Organised by the Carlton Motor Sports Club (CMSC), the Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers and Riders (SLARDAR) and the Asian Motor Racing Club (AMRC), under the guidance of the Ministry of Sports and Sri Lanka Automobile Sports (SLAS), the Sri Lanka Super Series 2014 is a revolutionary concept in motor racing in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lanka Super Series 2014 will include six races that will take place in various locations across the island throughout the year.
