Sri Lanka team heads down under

The Sri Lankan cricket team will leave tonight for Australia on a two month tour.

Their itinerary starts from 6 December 2012 to 28 January 2013. The tour will consist of three Tests, five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Tests will be played for the Warne–Muralitharan Trophy.

Sri Lanka’s tour squad: Mahela Jayewardene (Capt), Angelo Mathews (Vice Capt), Tillekeratne Dilshan, Kumar Sangakkara, Tharanga Paranavitana, Thilan Samaraweera, Prasanna Jayewardene, (WK), Rangana Herath, Nuwan Kulasekera, Shaminda Eranga, Suraj Randiv, Dinesh Chandimal, Chanaka Welegedera, Nuwan Pradeep, Dhammika Prasad, Dimuth Karunaratne.
