The Sri Lanka Under-20 rugby team will represent the country at the Asian Sevens series which will take place in Malaysia (15 and 16 August) and Hong Kong (22 and 23 August) in a two-legged event.
In order to select a national squad, the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union (SLRFU) has organised an under-20 Sevens tournament for schools, clubs or franchise with an open invitation to anyone to submit a team under 20 years of age.
This tournament will take place on 25 and 26 July. Players born between 01.01.1995 and 31.12.1997 are eligible to play. However, players who are born in 1998/1999 have to follow the World Rugby guidelines. The majority of players who could play for their school next year will represent the outfit.
