This month on CNN’s ‘Talk Asia’ Anna Coren sits down with the former Sri Lankan cricket team captain Kumar Sangakkara. In their candid conversation they talk openly about his life, cricketing career, World Cup ambitions and retirement plans. Sangakkara also discusses the devastating three-decade long civil war in Sri Lanka where “a lot of people paid the ultimate price with their lives for that conflict” and his parents’ brave actions in protecting the lives of their Tamil friends.
