Sri Lanka’s newest Nine hole Golf Course opens in China Bay

Sri Lanka’s newest nine hole Golf Course built by the Sri Lanka Air Force was declared open by Gothabaya Rajapaksa, Defense Secretary last week at China Bay, Trincomalee. 

This Golf Course was the brain child of Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrema.  50 golfers from Colombo played in the inaugural tournament and the winner in the men’s section was Lal Dias while winner in the ladies section was Manori Jayakoddy.
