Talent Swimming Academy holds annual meet

Janaka Fonseka Text and pix by Ruzaik Farook Talent Swimming Academy held its Annual Internal Swimming Meet 2015 at the St. Benedict’s College Pool recently. Chief Guest Conrad Francis, Sri Lanka’s Olympic Swimmer and Sri Lankan Swimming Coach, Rev. Bro. Janaka Fonseka, Director, St. Benedict’s College, General Secretary of the Talent Swimming Academy P. Segar and President Momamed Faiz (Member Western Provincial Council) distributed gold medals and certificate to participants. The first swimmer of the academy Savinesh Padmanaban and CEO and Head Coach Rajendran Thavaseelan were also present at the event. Over 200 swimmers participated at this gala event, held with the motive of promoting, encouraging and developing better swimmers.
