The Sri Lanka team yesterday left to United Arab Emirates

The Sri Lanka team yesterday left to United Arab Emirates to take on Pakistan in 3 Tests , 5 ODI’s and 1 T20 match, commencing 18th October 2011 in cities of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. This encounter between the two rivals is a historic one because it is the first time a test match will be played in the UAE, and it is also the first time the two teams are meeting for an all out series since the 2009 tour of Pakistan where the Sri Lankan team were victim to a terrorist attack in Lahore.
