The second week matches of the inter club rugby tournament 2014/2015 will kick off on 7 November when Sri Lanka Air Force come out for their second home match.
This time they will be up against CH & FC who will be coming out for the first time after a break in the first week.
CH & FC will miss the service of former Trinity, Kandy SC and Up Country SC player Dilip Selvam who was supposed to lead the outfit will to Australia next week soon after his marriage. Air Force after the heavy beating against Kandy SC will be hoping for an improved performance. This encounter will be refereed by one of the top and fair judges of the game Dinka Peiris.
On the following day (8 November) there will be two games down for decision. First one will be between the traditional rivals CR & FC and Havelocks SC. Both teams started off the season on a high note with a win, CR & FC beating Army SC in a second half rally and Havies too on same fashion beating the Cops. The CR & FC and Havies game which will be played at Longdon Place will be handled by Priyantha Gunaratne. Police SC will host the defending champions Navy SC with Dharmapala Nimal handling the game on the same day.
On Sunday (9 November) there will be a crunch game on the cards at the race course rugby grounds when Rohitha Rajapakse led Army SC host the Kandy SC led by Sean Wijesinghe. Kandy SC will have added another overseas player Oscar Ouma who will be in the country for this game from Kenya. This encounter will be handled by Irshard Cader.
