Trinity skipper Rahul Karunathilake to play for Kandy SC

Trinity 2015/16 rugby captain, Rahul Karunathilake will turn out for the Kandy Sports Club in the Inter club rugby tournament which will kick off in late October this year.  

Rahul who represented Trinity Under 20 team for four years represented Sri Lanka as a second rower in the last Junior World Rugby Tournament (JWRT) under Omalka Gunaratne.

His team mate and star winger for Trinity this year, Geshan Pethiyagoda too will join the Up Country Club end of next month. He is the nephew of former Sri Lanka sevens, fifteens player and Kandy SC player, Indrajith Bandaranayake.
