Trinity to conduct hockey tournament

Trinity College will be organising a six-a-side hockey tournament on 14 and 15 January at the Asgiriya International Cricket Stadium.

Trinity first played against S. Thomas’ Mount Lavinia and later on against Wesley, Kingswood, St. Anthony’s, Katugasota, Dharmaraja, St. Sylvester’s, St. Paul’s and Asoka Vidyalaya, all taking place in 1950s.

The six-a-side tournament will see 32 boys teams and 18 girls teams from Kandy, Colombo, Jaffna, Galle, Colombo, Chilaw, Matale and Badulla taking part in the two-day event in the Hill Capital.
