Trinity College Kandy’s Junior ‘Lions’ became the All-Island Under-12 champions, following a series of victories at the Thurstan College and Royal College grounds in Colombo.
The Trinity Under-12 outfit was led by Mishraka Wickremasekera while his deputy was Lithmal Moragoda.
The Trinitians remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, beating Nalanda (48-0), St. Anthony’s Katugastota (55-0), Ananda (42-0), Mahanama (38-0), St Thomas Mount Lavinia (38-0) and St. Peter’s (12-0)
The outfit was coached by Mohamed Faizal with Randika Alwis, Ishanka Abeykoon and Lochana Giriyagama assisting him. The teacher-in-charge was Chandani.
