Tony Udagedara emerged the overall winner of the Oman Air Trophy at the fifth consecutive Oman Air Golf Classic, which was worked off on 4 and 5 October at the Victoria Golf and Country Resort in Digana, Kandy.
Vidush Rajendran emerged as the tournament’s runner-up. Following a thrilling competition, Udagedara clinched the trophy by making a final combined two round score of 80 with a handicap of 13.
Rajendran secured second place with a handicap of 26 and a total score of 77. Udagedara walked away with the coveted title of Overall Nett Winner and a grand prize of Rs. 100,000 from Oman Air.
Conducted over the course of two days, the Oman Air Golf Classic saw the participation of over 100 golfers from Sri Lanka, Australia and the Middle East.
