Union Bank and NAMAL sponsor RCGC monthly medal

Union Bank and National Asset Management Limited (NAMAL) jointly sponsored the monthly medal of the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) held on 3 December with tee-offs starting at 6 a.m. and offered an exhilarating day of golf for all December Monthly Medal patrons.

The tournament featured five categories of play including Divisions A, B, C as well as Masters and Seniors Divisions. The tournament was conducted on a stroke play format and attracted close to 200 golfers.

The RCGC which was founded over 130 years ago is the second oldest Royal Golf Club in the world outside the United Kingdom, and boasts a rich heritage of tradition and culture.

The Monthly Medal is an event that goes back a long way in time and is the most regular occurrence on the local golfing calendar at the RCGC.
