University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh primed to take 2016 Red Bull Campus Cricket World Finals C’shi

After 17 days of intense matches throughout the tournament, the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) emerged victorious in the final match, beating Green University by reaching the target of 68 in just 13.2 overs. 

ULAB’s AsirInteser scored a game-high 32 runs to push his team past the finish line. The captain of ULAB, Md. Hasannuzzaman, was awarded the Player of the Tournament accolade.

Md. Hasanuzzaman – Captain, winner of the ULAB Fair Play Trophy Player of the Tournament.

Anjum Ahamed – Player of Kala Bagan Krira Chakra and University of Liberal Arts. Strong right-hand batsman inspired by the playing style of cricketing great Sachin Tendulkar.

Morsalin Bin Mortaza – Cricket runs deep in the Mortaza family. Morsalin’s elder brother is Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Captain of the Bangladesh cricket team. Morsalin is very handy with the ball and regularly opens the bowling for the team with his right-arm slow medium deliveries.
