Victory for IIT at annual cricket match against SAITM

The IIT cricket team displayed an all-round performance filled with consistency and class, which led to them securing a outstanding victory against SAITM in their Annual Cricket Encounter which was held at St. Peter’s College, Bambalapitiya recently. 

IIT decided to bat first after winning the toss and scored 265/8 in their allotted 50 overs. Following an impressive display of batting, IIT was able to bowl SAITM out for 233 runs in 48.3 overs.

Pasindu Acharige from IIT was judged as the Man of the Match. Navoda Gunasekara (SAITM) received the Best Batsman Award while Asanka Rantilakage (SAITM) received the Best Fielder Award. Suboda Didulaka (IIT) bagged the Best Bowler Award.
