We have made a comeback - Mahela

Victorious skipper Mahela Jayawardena said that he and Sri Lankan team did well to win against Australia.

He admitted that when Australia came back after the rain break, he feared that the ghosts of the past have come back to haunt them but then his team batted well.  Mehala said his bowlers can bowl in different conditions and it is all about getting it in the right places as well. On his promotion to the opening slot, he said that a good start was important and he has done that in the past.  “Sri Lanka has come back in the tournament with this win and the bonus point is an icing on the cake. We want to fight till the last and keep performing,” Mahela added.
