Wesley’s Ashen Wijerathne shines in TT

Ashen Wijerathne of Wesley College, Colombo was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament at the Western Province Boys and Girls Junior Novices Table Tennis Championship 2012 organised by the Friendship TT Club at S. Thomas’ Indoor Stadium recently.

He became the U-15 singles Champion, U-18 Doubles Champion and U-18 Singles runner-up.

This is his first championship win after three years of hard work. Ashen is also a member of the Wesley College Table Tennis U-18 and U-15 teams with his younger brother.
