Winning farewell for Mahela at Taj Samudra

Taj Samudra Colombo Area Director and General Manager Rohit Khosla organised an amazing ceremony on Monday afternoon for the victory of the second Test Match for the Sri Lankan Cricket Team and farewell to legendary Mahela Jayawardene at the Lattice. A special cake arranged by Executive Chef Dhaithya Krawage was cut by Mahela at Taj Samudra on arrival.

Jayawardene closed the curtain on an illustrious test career on Monday at the SSC. He has scored more than 11,000 runs in both tests and one day Internationals – one of only five cricketers worldwide to have achieved that feat to date.
